The current was medium to fast, river width about 2-17 m, with maximum depth up to 1.5 m, the shore is grassy, and with gravel as stream-bed. Associated fishes found in the type locality were Capoeta buhsei, Alburnoides coadi, Barbus miliaris, Squalius namak, Oncorhynchus mykiss, and Paracobitis malapterura (Ref. 129198).
