Colouration: body pinkish-mauve; snout with two narrow yellow bands, the uppermost from anterior margin of eye through nostrils, the lower band from just in front of lower margin of eye to anterior edge of suborbital; upper lip is narrowly edged with yellow while the lower lip and chin beneath lip are yellow, this colour extending as narrow band posteriorly to lower margin of opercle (Ref. 93175).
