This species does not exhibit unique morphometric tendencies distinguishing it from all other congeneric species. Differs from other congeners except Harttiella intermedia by a caudal peduncle: shorter compared to the species belonging to the longicauda group [mean = 40.36 ± 1.06% of SL vs 43.61 ± 1.79 < mean < 44 .26 ± 1.48% of SL; (HSD, p-values < 0.0002)], and longer compared to the other species of the crassicauda group [mean = 40.36 ± 1.06% of SL vs 36.14 ± 1.66 < mean < 38 .32 ± 1.54% of SL; (HSD, p-values < 0.0281)].
