Captured together with A holosaurid (Aldrovandia affinis), a psychrolutid (Ebinania vermiculata), and 2 zoarcids (Ericandersonia sagamia and Japonolycodes abei) in the same traps in Sagami Bay, indicating the likelihood of their sharing similar habitat.
