Size / Weight / Age
Maturity: Lm ?  range ? - ? cm
Max length : 9.1 cm SL male/unsexed; (Ref. 81260)
Dorsal spines (total): 13 - 15; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10 - 11; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9. Diagnosis: relatively robust, body depth 30.0-37.0% of standard length; mouth large; upper jaw 28.5-35.2% of head length; lateral line system on head markedly enlarged and inflated; series of dark blotches along the sides often visible; microbranchiospines usually absent on outer faces of second through fourth gill arches (Ref. 81260).
