Max length : 7.5 cm TL male/unsexed; (Ref. 11344)
Dorsal spines (total): 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 10; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 9 - 11. Body grey to brown in color, with white and brown spots on back; thin white bars on side; 3-6 elongate dark brown spots on midside; males with black spot on rear of 1st dorsal fin (Ref. 2798).
Body shape (shape guide): fusiform / normal.
An estuary sand dweller occurring in tidal parts of rivers (Ref. 4343).
