Épines dorsales (Total) : 0; Épines anales: 0; Rayons mous anaux: 51 - 54. Rather hump-backed, belly with 18 0r 19 + 7 or 8 = 25 to 27 keeled scutes from isthmus to anus. Lower gill rakers with serrae not distinctly clumped. Pectoral filament long, reaching to base of 27th to 41st anal fin ray.
No data on habitat and biology, but presumably marine in coastal waters and perhaps entering estuaries.
