Etymology: Brochis: Greek, brogchia, -as = throat, trachea (Ref. 45335); bethanae: Named after Bethan Grant, daughter of SG, who, like her brother, has battled health issues all her life.
Eponymy: Bethan is the daughter of one of the authors, British aquarist Steven Grant, a specialist in catfish and loaches who has kept fish for twentyfive years. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
