Africa: middle Congo River drainage in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Republic of Congo (Ref. 91032). Reported from the Tshuapa River, lower Ubangi (Ref. 47461, 91032), Itimbiri (Ref. 86918, 91032), Sangha (Ref. 47461), Likouala (Ref. 86918), Lulonga (Ref. 47461) and lower Lomami, and lakes Tumba and Mai Ndombe (Ref. 91032).
