Diagnosis: mouth inferior; two pairs of barbels, anterior pair 0.75-1.05x eye diameter, posterior pair 1.1-1.75x; lateral line complete; 25-28 scales in lateral line; 12 scales around caudal peduncle; longitudinal interrupted black stripe, composed of 3-5 elongated spots (Ref. 81639).
Maximum recorded size: 6.2 cm TL (Ref. 2801).
