Occurs in small fresh and brackish water streams. 10 cm max TL (Ref. 3788). Also inhabit ponds. Feeds on worms, crustaceans, insects and fish (Ref. 7020). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
