Etymology: Pimelodella: Diminutive latinized of greek, pimele = fat + Greek, odous, odella = little teeth (Ref. 45335); nuchalis: Name 'nuchalis' from the Latin word meaning 'neck', in allusion to the dark saddle on the predorsal region of the new species.
