This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: autapomorphic presence of an asymmetrical flattened hood-like projection of skin located between the anus and the urogenital papilla of female; distal position of the hooks in the appendices of R3 of the gonopodium in males (Ref. 137683).
