The type locality is located in an open vegetation at the boarder of a forest and is a shallow pool, about 5-10 cm deep, with orangish hyaline water (Ref. 81223). A female-biased sex ratio (2.38 : 1, female : male) has been reported for this species (Ref. 92020).
