Diagnosis |
Serrapinnus sterbai can be diagnosed from all congeners by having a wide, black, lateral stripe extending from the region of the supracleithrum to the dark spot on the caudal peduncle (Ref. 96959). Description: dorsal-fin rays ii,9; anal-fin rays iii-iv,16-21; pectoral-fin rays i,9-11; pelvic-fin rays i,7; and scale rows between lateral line and pelvic-fin origin 4 (Ref. 96959). |
