Diagnosis |
Distinguished from all congeners except Pangio bitaimac, P. cuneovirgata, P. doriae, P. filinaris, P. fusca, P. lidi and P. longimanus by having a long, pointed narial flap (nasal barbel). Can be separated from these seven species and in addition from all other congeners by its unique color pattern consisting of a midlateral stripe and a reticulated pattern of chromatophores loosely organized in a middorsal and paired dorsolateral bands on a light beige background (Ref. 91039). |
