Has 21-25 predorsal scales; 7-10 long, black vertical bars on the sides, becoming more or less circular posteriorly (Ref. 27732). Sexual dimorphism in color, body shape, and fin shape obvious in specimens over about 7 cm SL (Ref. 43281). |
