This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: D IV (III–V) + I,10 (9-12); A I,20 (18-22); gill rakers on lower limb of first arch 14 (11-17); dorsal and anal fins are elongated in adult males, tips reaching base of caudal fin. Colouration: no dark margins of the scales, reflective blue shine of the body, solid midlateral stripe with no color disruptions (Ref. 130430). |
