Diagnosis |
Body light brown, lighter at snout and no mark below the eye. Teeth in the middle of premaxilla arranged in almost 1 row (Ref. 41299). Description: Characterized by body depth at gill opening 18.5-22.5 in TL; origin of dorsal fin slightly anterior to gill opening; anus anterior to middle of body; preanal length 2.1-2.2 in TL; side of upper jaw with two rows of teeth, teeth in inner row are much longer, extending to rear jaw; two stout intermaxillary teeth; inner row teeth of lower jaw longer and confined to anterior part of jaw; low, nodular and uniserial vomerine teeth (Ref. 90102). |
