Whitish with two black stripes, one middorsal and the other lateral on head but passing to lower side on body, both ending in caudal fin; pale band separating two black stripes bright yellow on head, this band narrowing as it passes anteriorly, forming a V on top of snout with band of other side (Ref. 13442).
