Diagnosis |
A small fish not exceeding 2.2 cm SL. Transverse scale row 9.5. Vertebrae usually 26. Palatine teeth present. Anguloarticular lateralis canal absent. Males with a black blotch anteriorly in dorsal fin. Stripes on side of head absent. Body color uniform or with weak reticulate pattern formed by dark scale margins; no vertical bars; no caudal, cleithral or opercular blotches (Ref. 46238). |
