Diagnosis |
Have well developed processes along the median caudal-fin rays. Easily distinguished from Indian congeners in having a unique combination of the following characters: length of adipose-fin base 28.3% SL, dorsal to adipose distance 15.8% SL, head width 13.6% SL, body depth at anus 11.5% SL, 37 vertebrae, and a non-projecting lower jaw (Ref. 41275). Description: Anal fin with vi,8 rays; pelvic fin with i,5 (Ref. 41275). |
