Definition of Term

t0
(English) The (usually negative) age fish would have at length zero if their entire growth trajectory were described by the von Bertalanffy growth equation (note that this is usually not the case, and hence 't0' is an arbitrary parameter used only to position a growth curve relative to the origin of the coordinate system).
