Goals and Objectives: |
The organization established the Convention for the Conservation of Salmon in the North Atlantic Ocean. The objective of the organization is to promote the conservation, restoration, enhancement and rational management of salmon stocks in the North Atlantic Ocean through international cooperation; applies to the salmon stocks which migrate beyond areas of fisheries jurisdiction of coastal States of beyond areas of fisheries jurisdiction or coastal states of the Atlantic ocean. |
