| Remarks | Abstract: A new deep-sea skate species, Notoraja yurii sp. n., is described from the Ninety East Ridge and the Broken Ridge, Indian Ocean. The species is distinguished from its congeners in body proportions, color, denticle pattern, and some skeletal structures. Data on the structure of neurocranium, scapulocoracoid, and pterygopodia, the counts of abdominal and caudal vertebrae, teeth rows, coils of intestinal valves, as well as the species biology, are provided. |
