Found on sandy or muddy bottoms and feeds on insect larvae and crustaceans (Ref. 46829). Remnants of ostracods and shells have been found as well (Ref. 93927). Caught at a depth of 40 m (Ref. 93927), but average depth is about 10 m (Ref. 53528). Forms schools (Ref. 6770). |
