Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 2-2. Snout short, conical; eyes large, its diameter greater than snout length. Scales small, with very small, conical, erect spinules. Margins along the leading edge of the snout, supranarial ridges, and a median nasal ridge black; first dorsal fin uniformly dusky. |

Feeds on shrimp-like crustacean and squid (Ref. 1371). |
