Max. size:  6.47 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 5-5; Vertebrae: 38-38. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: vestigial eyes; absence of skin pigment; tip of pelvic fin reaching anus; lateral line complete; posterior chamber of air bladder developed; and dorsal fin iii, 7 (Ref. 138252).
