Distribution:  Asia: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 11-11. Upper pectoral base scaled; lower base may or may not be scaled; breast with embedded scales; belly anteriorly scaled close to pelvic base; upper jaw teeth 3+1, lower jaw teeth 3-4+1-2 (Ref. 34009).
