Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Differs from the two similar species Sinocyclocheilus hugeibarbus, Sinocyclocheilus altishoulderus and Sinocyclocheilus yaolanensis by having the following characters: 65-67 scales on lateral line; 25-26 scales above the lateral line; 16-18 scales below the lateral line; and 15 gill rakers (Ref. 87299). |
