Max. size:  15.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine, non-migratory
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Hainan, China. This species is possibly a junior synonym of Sillago sihama.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-22; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 23-23. Very similar to S. sihama but with the head length 33% of standard length.
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 205).
