Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 10 - 219 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Florida and northern Gulf of Mexico in USA to northern Brazil (Ref. 7251), southern Brazil to Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul (Ref. 47377).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Synchronously hermaphroditic.
