Both jaws covered by a horny sheath and with sharp edges; no processus dentiformis; no notch in lower jaw; body with 9-13 bars, irregularly shaped, many of them incomplete or reduced to blotches on middle of flank, alternating with mid-dorsal blotches; black bar at caudal base variable, from complete to restricted to an elongate blotch in middle of caudal base (Ref. 43281). |
