Max. size:  50 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 7 - 8 m
Distribution:  Northwestern Indian Ocean: Oman, east to Pakistan and Bangladesh; south-west to the Socotra Archipelago.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 9-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  Found along exposed rocky shores.
