Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 60 - 243 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Kenya and the Gulf of Aden.
Diagnosis:  This species is distinguished by the following characters: no pectoral fins; posterior nostril is at the level of mid-eye; with palatine teeth; some vomerine teeth are enlarged (Ref. 127961).
