Dorsal spines (total): 19-20; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-16; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 11-13; Vertebrae: 34-34. Spinescent gill rakers with 3 or 4 cusps. Lateral line branching from below the 5th to before the 6th spine of the first dorsal fin; the upper lateral line reaching at least to the end of the soft dorsal fin base. |
Matures at about 10 cm standard length. A squid was found in the stomach of one specimen (Ref. 9784). |
