Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 5 - 12 m
Distribution:  Africa: endemic to Lake Malawi (Ref. 5663, 26078).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found over large rocks and slabs at depths ranging from 5 to 12 meter (Ref. 26078). It reportedly feeds on filamentous algae (Ref. 26078).
