Max. size:  13 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic (Ref. 68964) species occurring over muddy substrate (Ref. 11441), It has dorsal spines with venom glands (Ref. 11441) which can cause extremely painful and potentially fatal wounds (Ref. 13710).
