Diagnosis:  This species distinguished by the following characters: dorsal and anal fins with well-developed scale sheaths; 23-24 (usually 24) segmented dorsal-fin rays; slender and weakly pungent to flexible anal fin spines, the second spine is as stout as the third one (Ref. 81967).
