Max. size:  7.6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Dong Jiang drainage in Guangdong Province, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 18-19. Nude without scale, complete lateral line. Well developed dorsal fin, adipose fin about 1.4-2.8 times the length of the dorsal fin, nearly arc-shaped. Yellowish brown in color, with three dark yellowish lateral strips in the side. One of the strips along the lateral line is discontinued (Ref. 33423).
