No coronal pore, io 6 (5+1), 6 preoperculo-mandibular pores and 1 suprabranchial pore; lower pectoral lobe wide and thick, handlike, 1 pectoral notch ray, gill slit distinctly oblique and short (about equal to eye), large mouth (cleft reaching to below pupil, upper jaw 13.5% SL), caudal part of body unpigmented. | |||
