Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Magdalena and Atrato River basins.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Prefers shallow muddy bottoms with turbid waters (Ref. 26543). Feeds on insect larvae (Ref. 26543).
