| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 9-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Females and juveniles lack the elongate dorsal and caudal fin lobes and electric colors of the males (Ref. 37816). Tubed peduncular scales 5-6; no distinct stripes on body (Ref. 41634). | |||
