Description: Characterized by mauve back; midlateral stripe broad and brown; brown stripe on lower head; caudal fin base with large black spot; greatest depth of body 2.9-3.6 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
| Biology: | Found in sheltered water with low coral growth or coral rubble, on fine silty sand (Ref. 10694). In small aggregations (Ref. 48635). | |||
