Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Ochre mid-lateral stripe and a thin bright yellow line along back. Juveniles with pale head and yellow body (Ref. 48635).
Description: Characterized by black spot at middle of caudal fin base; greatest depth of body 2.8-3.3 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
Biology: |
Common in shallow waters along mangrove shores to 6-7 m. Solitary or in small groups (Ref 90102). |
