characters: 21-22+1 scales in the longitudinal series with 5 pored scales; ½3/1/1½ scales in the transverse row; 8 predorsal scales and a vertical black bar on the dorsal fin (Ref. 99423).

Found in shallow river with rapid flow over a substrate of gravel and cobbles and with river banks composed of stands of Pandanus and other riparian vegetation. Collected close to the bank among submerged vegetation (Ref. 99423). |
