Max. size:  100 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 83.3 g
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 22 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Kenya south to Madagascar and South Africa, and east to Taiwan, Thailand (Ref. 1632), and the Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Pale brownish yellow, lighter on fins (Ref. 3972).
Biology:  Occurs from shore to 22 m depth.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 06 December 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
