Inhabits sand and gravel runs of medium to large rivers but is less often found in sand or mud bottomed pools (Ref. 5723). Feeds on aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates (71% of diet) detritus, plant material and sand. Batch spawner (Ref. 79012). |
