Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Blackwater-Yellow River system (Pensacola Bay drainage) in Florida, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in backwaters and quiet pools of creeks and small rivers. Usually found over mud near vegetation.
