This species is distinguished by the following characters: predorsal vertebrae 32-34, preanal vertebrae 42-44, total vertebrae 98-104; larva has a flatter intestinal loop than the other species; posterior lateral melanophore while anterior ventral melanophore is apparently absent; colour of freshly caught specimen gray to reddish brown (Ref. 133039). | |||
